SoupChoose between two homemade, seasonal soup selections, served with a warm cheddar muffin and dill butter Savory SelectionsThe Tavern SandwichCrusty Parmesan bread is warm and stacked with your choice of Black Forest ham, smoked turkey breast or roast beef and served with a cup of our homemade, seasonal soup, a crispy dill pickle and honey mustard or horseradish creme on the side. The Manchester MeltA puff pastry square is filled with your choice of tuna salad, egg salad, smoked turkey breast, Black Forest ham, or roast beef and Swiss or cheddar cheese. It’s popped into a hot oven until the cheese melts and we serve it with a cup of our homemade, seasonal soup, a crispy dill pickle and honey mustard or horseradish creme on the side. The Ploughman’s LunchThe British farmer’s midday feast in the fields. A generous chunk of aged Scottish white cheddar, a boiled egg, a pickled onion, a hunk of warm crusty bread, dill butter, a crispy dill pickle, and a cup of our homemade, seasonal soup. Hearty FareShepherd’s PieOur own version of the classic meat pie from northern Great Britain is made with ground round, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and topped with whipped potatoes. Sirloin tips and vegetables are simmered in rich beef gravy and topped with a buttery puff pastry crust. Chicken Pot PieChicken, potatoes, carrots, and peas are braised in an herbed velout and then served inside a flaky pastry crust.
